1845 Native Amnerican Marker |
| Found on the bridge to Woodward. This marker is carved & dated 12/10/1845 by Lt. R.S. Granger (soldier) who found 200 Native Americans that said "No - you go!" but the soldiers took the Native Americans to Fort D. (Either Fort Des Moines or Fort Dodge?) then later to be taken to Tama.
